Youth Learn to Skate

 

Beginner Hockey School   

June 12 - August 7 (8 weeks - No classes July 4th weekend)
American Heartland Ice Arena

 

Ages 3-5 - Level 1 Beginner
Saturdays 9:00 am-9:30 am

Introductory class for children to learn how to ice skate and will include beginning skills
such as marching and gliding as well as lots of fun games.
(Skates required, helmet gloves/mittens, elbow pads recommended)

 

Ages 6 and up - D1 Beginner
Saturdays 9:30 am - 10:00 am

Introductory class where participants will become more familiar with ice skating. Some
basic skills taught include falling down, getting up, marching, and gliding. More advanced
skills will also be explored if possible.
(Skates required, helmet gloves/mittens, elbow pads recommended)

 

All Ages Learn to Play Hockey
Saturdays 10:10 am - 10:40 am

This class is for more experienced children who know how to skate and how to properly
hold a hockey stick.
(Hockey Equipment Required)

 

Fee: $125 per class

These learn-to-skate classes are being offered by American Heartland Ice Arena.
